FAQ

Where is my order?
Rest assured, we are printing, cleaning up and shipping your order as fast as we can. Myth Forged is just the two of us (Sam and Steve) so sometimes in busier periods a bit of a queue can develop. Average dispatch time is 5 days but check the banner at the top of the site for accurate lead times.

What kind of glue should I use?
I use a gel super glue. We sell Loctite on the store as we know it works!
Poly/plastic cement will not work

What prep do I need to do for painting?
The miniatures should be ready for a priming coat, however I'd always recommend a quick wash with warm, soapy water. You can paint directly onto the mini, but I recommend priming.

Why have some of the miniatures come on supports?
I ship delicate or small things with the supports still attached. I've found that things get broken and/or lost if I don't. If you submerge them in hot warm for 15 seconds, most miniatures will peel off the supports really easily. Just go slowly and steadily.

My mini feels sticky/tacky to touch - what's going on?
Sometimes the combination of humidity and the packaging causes the washing solution to make the surface a little tacky. This can be solved with a wash in either isopolyl alcohol, or just hot soapy water. Leave to dry in the sun/warm dry place and they'll be fine.

Introducing the Two Swooping Darkmantles miniature set, designed with a captivating blend of elegance and terror. These floating, squid-like entities present a menacing yet graceful appearance, each with distinct poses that evoke a sense of movement and predatory intent. Model A stands in an upright position, its tentacles flowing downward as if preparing to swoop. Meanwhile, Model B captures the dynamic essence of a dive, with its body angled forward and tentacles spread wide, creating an impression of motion through the air. Both models are anchored to rocky bases that simulate a cave environment, enhancing their eldritch presence.

These miniatures bring the mystery and menace of dark fantasy settings to life, perfect for tabletop adventures set in the depths of dungeons or the vastness of untamed wilderness. Whether you're a dungeon master looking to add an element of surprise to your campaign or a player seeking a unique encounter, these Darkmantles are sure to leave a lasting impression. Their intricate design and lack of humanoid features make them ideal for representing otherworldly creatures or monsters born from the shadows.

Incorporating the Two Swooping Darkmantles into your roleplaying game opens a realm of possibilities. They can be the guardians of an ancient artifact, lurking in the shadows and waiting to strike any unwary adventurers. Alternatively, they might be the remnants of a forgotten race, hidden away in a secluded cave system. Their appearance and versatility allow for creative storytelling, offering endless scenarios to challenge and engage players in both Dungeons and Dragons and Pathfinder campaigns.
