FAQ

Where is my order?
Rest assured, we are printing, cleaning up and shipping your order as fast as we can. Myth Forged is just the two of us (Sam and Steve) so sometimes in busier periods a bit of a queue can develop. Average dispatch time is 5 days but check the banner at the top of the site for accurate lead times.

What kind of glue should I use?
I use a gel super glue. We sell Loctite on the store as we know it works!
Poly/plastic cement will not work

What prep do I need to do for painting?
The miniatures should be ready for a priming coat, however I'd always recommend a quick wash with warm, soapy water. You can paint directly onto the mini, but I recommend priming.

Why have some of the miniatures come on supports?
I ship delicate or small things with the supports still attached. I've found that things get broken and/or lost if I don't. If you submerge them in hot warm for 15 seconds, most miniatures will peel off the supports really easily. Just go slowly and steadily.

My mini feels sticky/tacky to touch - what's going on?
Sometimes the combination of humidity and the packaging causes the washing solution to make the surface a little tacky. This can be solved with a wash in either isopolyl alcohol, or just hot soapy water. Leave to dry in the sun/warm dry place and they'll be fine.

Unveil the Reverse Centaurs, a trio of uniquely terrifying figures, for your Dungeons and Dragons, Pathfinder 2E, or Call of Cthulhu campaigns. These creatures, with the torsos of horses and the lower bodies of humans, twist the classic centaur myth into something altogether more sinister and bewildering. Captured in mid-roar and posed in aggressive stances, these miniatures are set to bring a novel and disturbing element to any encounter, perfect for a game master looking to venture beyond the bounds of traditional fantasy.

Each Reverse Centaur is sculpted with an eye for the grotesque and the majestic, blending equine power with human agility in a way that is both eerie and awe-inspiring. The roaring faces, situated where one would expect a centaur's human torso to begin, add a layer of primal fury to the figures. Their human legs, clad in whatever armor or clothing befits their warrior status, are poised to charge or leap into battle. The juxtaposition of forms invites a moment of dissonance, challenging players to reconsider what they know about mythical creatures and their potential forms.

For miniature painting enthusiasts, the Reverse Centaurs present an intriguing challenge. The contrast between the horse's fur and the human skin, as well as the blend of textures from armor and natural form, offers a unique palette for exploration. Painting the roaring horse faces requires attention to detail to capture their ferocity, while the human limbs allow for a display of cultural or personal adornment, adding layers of story to each figure.

Incorporating the Reverse Centaurs into your TTRPG sessions promises to add an element of surprise and horror. Whether they are guardians of a cursed forest in Dungeons and Dragons, berserk warriors from a forgotten time in Pathfinder 2E, or manifestations of a character's deepest fears in Call of Cthulhu, these creatures can serve multiple narrative purposes. They challenge adventurers not only with their physical might but also with the psychological impact of their appearance, turning each encounter into a memorable event that blends combat with the exploration of the uncanny.
