A button-tufted high-back armchair for the one who holds court at the table.

This resin armchair is a complete assembled piece of tabletop terrain, built around a deeply buttoned, padded backrest framed by tall, rough-hewn wooden wings. Scrolled armrests with chunky wooden supports, a cushioned seat and four thick plank legs give it a sturdy, slightly crooked workshop-made look that suits a cluttered curio shop or a wizard's study.

Use it to seat a shopkeeper, a patron or a suspicious informant, or place it behind a counter to dress a taxidermist's parlour. The visible wood grain, cracks and soft upholstery folds take paint beautifully, so you can go from worn leather to faded velvet with simple washes and drybrushing.

• Deep button-tufted padded backrest
