This giant fire beetle is caught mid-charge, horn dipped toward the ground and glossy wing cases splayed wide, as if it has just been disturbed and is ready to strike. Armoured plates, segmented legs and heavy, clamping forelimbs give the creature a convincing, bristling presence on the table.
Printed in high-resolution resin, the fine ridges, wing veins and joints come through crisp and clean, ready for your paints. It makes a memorable beast for cave crawls, swamp ambushes or any encounter where something huge and chitinous bursts out of the dark. - Delicate minis and weapons may come still on their print supports to protect them in shipping.
- To remove supports soak in warm water for 20 sec then peel away by hand or carefully use snips or scalpel.
- An extra wash in soapy water and a dry in a sunny spot never hurts.
- You can paint straight onto our resin minis but we recommend priming for a smoother and longer lasting result.
- We recommend a gel superglue (we sell Loctite PowerGel if you need to grab some). Poly/cement will not work.
