Celestials are the outsiders of good — creatures native to the Upper Planes, shaped from divine and righteous substance. They are the messengers, protectors, and wrath of the gods, and they tend to show up when a campaign reaches its highest stakes. The classic celestials include angelic solars, planetars, and devas, along with pegasi, couatls, unicorns, ki-rin, and lammasus. Used well, a celestial in your game can flip the emotional tone of a session: an angel arriving to parley, a unicorn lost in a corrupted wood, or a couatl guarding the last library of a fallen empire.
