FAQ

Where is my order?
Rest assured, we are printing, cleaning up and shipping your order as fast as we can. Myth Forged is just the two of us (Sam and Steve) so sometimes in busier periods a bit of a queue can develop. Average dispatch time is 5 days but check the banner at the top of the site for accurate lead times.

What kind of glue should I use?
I use a gel super glue. We sell Loctite on the store as we know it works!
Poly/plastic cement will not work

What prep do I need to do for painting?
The miniatures should be ready for a priming coat, however I'd always recommend a quick wash with warm, soapy water. You can paint directly onto the mini, but I recommend priming.

Why have some of the miniatures come on supports?
I ship delicate or small things with the supports still attached. I've found that things get broken and/or lost if I don't. If you submerge them in hot warm for 15 seconds, most miniatures will peel off the supports really easily. Just go slowly and steadily.

My mini feels sticky/tacky to touch - what's going on?
Sometimes the combination of humidity and the packaging causes the washing solution to make the surface a little tacky. This can be solved with a wash in either isopolyl alcohol, or just hot soapy water. Leave to dry in the sun/warm dry place and they'll be fine.

Introduce an evocative figure to your Dungeons and Dragons, Pathfinder 2E, or Call of Cthulhu campaigns with the Sun Cultist miniature, a devout follower invoking celestial powers. This figure captures a moment of spiritual summoning, with one hand dramatically raised to the sky, gesturing in a call to the divine, while the other hand grips a sun staff, a symbol of their faith and a conduit for their sun-worshipping magic. This stance suggests a ritualistic invocation or a plea for divine intervention, illustrating the cultist’s role as an intermediary between the earthly and the celestial.

The sculpture of the Sun Cultist is designed with a keen attention to detail. The raised hand not only draws the eye upward, symbolizing a connection to higher powers, but also implies a dynamic moment of power gathering or blessing being bestowed. The sun staff, ornately carved and topped with a symbol of the sun, complements the cultist's gesture, reinforcing the theme of solar worship. The cultist's robes are decorated with solar motifs and may flutter as if moved by a divine breeze, adding a sense of motion and ethereal grace to the figure.

For miniature painting enthusiasts, this Sun Cultist offers a delightful canvas. The robes provide an opportunity to employ vibrant yellows and golds, reflecting the sun's radiance, with possible accents in fiery oranges and reds to suggest fervor and passion. The sun staff can be a focal point for detailed painting, perhaps using metallic or iridescent paints to emphasize its sacred importance. The gesturing hand could be highlighted to draw attention, possibly with subtle glow effects that suggest magical energy or divine presence.

Incorporating this Sun Cultist into your TTRPG sessions brings a mystical element to the narrative. Whether leading a ritual in a crucial plot moment, casting a significant spell in the heat of battle, or initiating divine communications, this cultist adds a layer of dramatic tension and potential plot developments. Their ability to connect with celestial forces can introduce new storylines or resolve ongoing conflicts, offering players a glimpse into the power of faith and the consequences of divine interaction.

This miniature not only enhances the visual appeal of your game but also deepens the thematic exploration of faith, power, and the role of religion in your fantasy world, providing players with memorable interactions and challenges.
