Unleash the embodiment of ancient wrath with the Raging Black Dragon miniature, a majestic and fearsome addition to your Dungeons and Dragons, Pathfinder 2E, or Call of Cthulhu campaigns. This towering figure captures the sheer might and terror of a black dragon in the midst of its fury, wings unfurled to reveal a massive wingspan that dominates the battlefield. Perched atop the crumbling remains of ancient ruins, the dragon roars, a sound that echoes the depth of its age-old rage and power. The ruins beneath its claws suggest a history intertwined with the dragon's own legacy, perhaps a once-great civilization now fallen, serving as a mere foothold for this creature's display of dominance.

The sculpture of the Raging Black Dragon is meticulously detailed, capturing the texture of its scales, the lethal sharpness of its claws and teeth, and the impressive spread of its wings. The dragon's pose, with its head thrown back in a roar and its wings stretched wide, conveys a moment of pure, unbridled power, commanding the attention of all who dare to look upon it. The ruins on which it perches are crafted to evoke a sense of ancient majesty, now overshadowed by the dragon's presence, adding layers of narrative potential to the miniature.

For miniature painting enthusiasts, the Raging Black Dragon offers a canvas filled with opportunities for both challenge and creativity. The black scales of the dragon provide a base for exploring variations in texture and shade, allowing for subtle highlights to suggest the play of light over its formidable body. The wings, with their vast expanse, invite techniques that can give them a leathery look or perhaps a subtle iridescence to hint at the dragon's magical nature. The ancient ruins offer a contrast to the dragon's darkness, with stone textures and perhaps remnants of ancient artistry to paint, suggesting the dragon's destructive impact on the world around it.

Incorporating the Raging Black Dragon into your TTRPG sessions introduces a force of nature, a being of ancient power that can serve as an adversary of epic proportions, a guardian of forgotten secrets, or an unwilling ally in a greater conflict. Its presence brings a sense of awe and a reminder of the primal forces that exist in the game world, challenging players to confront or harness such a creature's might. The ruins upon which it stands can be the focal point of a quest, holding secrets lost to time or serving as the dragon's lair, filled with treasures and dangers alike.

75mm Base. 32mm scale.

Beautiful and robust model

Came in a good time frame, and was very nice when it did arrive. Had a bit of cleanup to do, but nothing more than is necessary on any big model. Looks beautiful and incredibly detailed, especially with the base and posing!

Exceeded expectations!

I am always somewhat sceptical of 3D printed miniatures, not because I have expertise to suggest they are lesser to classic methods, it is mostly just because it's a newer technology and that feels scary. I have purchased one other product from myth forged, and was pleased with it's level of detail. However in comparison to this black dragon miniature I feel it has become very much overshadowed.

This miniature is brimming with detail and style with a near ludicrous attention to detail that makes its asking price feels like an absolute bargain. From the tiny stone etchings in the ancient ruins to the delightfully disgusting tongue that gives the model so much more life! it's one of the best dragon models I've ever had the pleasure of painting.
