FAQ

Where is my order?
Rest assured, we are printing, cleaning up and shipping your order as fast as we can. Myth Forged is just the two of us (Sam and Steve) so sometimes in busier periods a bit of a queue can develop. Average dispatch time is 5 days but check the banner at the top of the site for accurate lead times.

What kind of glue should I use?
I use a gel super glue. We sell Loctite on the store as we know it works!
Poly/plastic cement will not work

What prep do I need to do for painting?
The miniatures should be ready for a priming coat, however I'd always recommend a quick wash with warm, soapy water. You can paint directly onto the mini, but I recommend priming.

Why have some of the miniatures come on supports?
I ship delicate or small things with the supports still attached. I've found that things get broken and/or lost if I don't. If you submerge them in hot warm for 15 seconds, most miniatures will peel off the supports really easily. Just go slowly and steadily.

My mini feels sticky/tacky to touch - what's going on?
Sometimes the combination of humidity and the packaging causes the washing solution to make the surface a little tacky. This can be solved with a wash in either isopolyl alcohol, or just hot soapy water. Leave to dry in the sun/warm dry place and they'll be fine.

Introduce a dynamic and formidable presence to your Dungeons and Dragons, Pathfinder 2E, or Call of Cthulhu campaigns with the Rearing Cat Bear Centaur miniature. This extraordinary creature combines the fearsome upper body of a bear with the agile lower half of a big cat, captured in a moment of raw power as it rears up, all claws unleashed in a fearsome display of aggression and defense.

The sculpture of this Cat Bear Centaur is meticulously designed to showcase its unique dual nature. The figure stands on its hind cat legs, front bear paws slashing through the air, embodying both the predatory grace of a big cat and the brute strength of a bear. This pose highlights the creature's agility and ferocity, making it a striking figure on any battlefield or in any forested scene.

For miniature painting enthusiasts, this Cat Bear Centaur presents a unique challenge and opportunity. The detailed fur textures of both the bear and the cat offer a chance to experiment with blending techniques that transition smoothly between the two different types of fur. The rearing pose allows for dynamic shading and highlighting, emphasizing the muscular contours of the bear’s upper body and the sleek, powerful limbs of the cat. The claws can be painted with a gleaming, perhaps even blood-stained effect, to reflect their deadly nature.

Incorporating this Rearing Cat Bear Centaur into your TTRPG sessions adds an element of awe and danger. As a guardian of its territory, this centaur could be a noble ally or a formidable adversary, depending on how the players interact with its environment. Its fearsome appearance and powerful abilities make it a memorable character for critical battle scenes or as a central figure in a storyline involving mystical forests and the creatures that protect them.

This miniature not only enhances the visual impact of your game but also deepens the narrative, offering players encounters that are both thrilling and thought-provoking. The Rearing Cat Bear Centaur can serve as a guardian of ancient natural secrets or a cursed being, adding layers of mystery and conflict to your campaign.
