FAQ

Where is my order?
Rest assured, we are printing, cleaning up and shipping your order as fast as we can. Myth Forged is just the two of us (Sam and Steve) so sometimes in busier periods a bit of a queue can develop. Average dispatch time is 5 days but check the banner at the top of the site for accurate lead times.

What kind of glue should I use?
I use a gel super glue. We sell Loctite on the store as we know it works!
Poly/plastic cement will not work

What prep do I need to do for painting?
The miniatures should be ready for a priming coat, however I'd always recommend a quick wash with warm, soapy water. You can paint directly onto the mini, but I recommend priming.

Why have some of the miniatures come on supports?
I ship delicate or small things with the supports still attached. I've found that things get broken and/or lost if I don't. If you submerge them in hot warm for 15 seconds, most miniatures will peel off the supports really easily. Just go slowly and steadily.

My mini feels sticky/tacky to touch - what's going on?
Sometimes the combination of humidity and the packaging causes the washing solution to make the surface a little tacky. This can be solved with a wash in either isopolyl alcohol, or just hot soapy water. Leave to dry in the sun/warm dry place and they'll be fine.

Introduce a primal and menacing presence to your Dungeons and Dragons, Pathfinder 2E, or Call of Cthulhu campaigns with the Yakfolk with a Stone Dagger miniature. This figure captures the raw essence of a yakfolk warrior in the heat of battle, swinging a stone dagger with lethal intent. The combination of the yakfolk's formidable size and the ancient, primitive weapon evokes a sense of timelessness and brutal combat strategy, making it a fascinating character in any fantasy setting.

The sculpture of the Yakfolk with a Stone Dagger is meticulously crafted to highlight the creature's muscular build and the intensity of its action. The dynamic pose, with the dagger mid-swing, conveys a moment frozen in time, where the outcome of the battle hangs in the balance. The stone dagger, although primitive, is detailed to show its deadly craftsmanship, a testament to the yakfolk's skill in weapon-making and their connection to the earth. The figure's expression is one of fierce determination, showcasing the warrior's focus and aggression.

For miniature painting enthusiasts, this Yakfolk Warrior presents an exciting opportunity to delve into the nuances of painting action and movement. The texture of the yakfolk's fur offers a canvas for exploring various techniques to create realistic effects, while the stone dagger invites experimentation with mineral textures and the play of light on its edges. Capturing the intensity of the yakfolk's expression can bring the miniature to life, emphasizing the drama of the moment.

Incorporating the Yakfolk with a Stone Dagger into your TTRPG sessions adds an element of danger and wildness. Whether as a formidable foe in a Dungeons and Dragons encounter, a mysterious figure in a Pathfinder 2E scenario, or a guardian of ancient secrets in a Call of Cthulhu mystery, this miniature enhances the narrative with its powerful presence. The image of a yakfolk warrior swinging a stone dagger not only challenges players to confront this threat but also invites them to explore the rich culture and traditions of the yakfolk, adding depth and intrigue to your game world.
