This assembled resin workshop piece shows a great curved bow clamped in a heavy timber frame, its limbs bound with knotted cord and tipped with upswept ends. Twisted rope runs down from the bow's centre to a toothed gear and hand crank on a stout, riveted base, so the machine looks ready to span a bow at any moment.

Place it in a fletcher's yard, a barracks armoury or a besieged keep to give your table a believable crafting corner. Stacked planks, iron studs and chunky stonework add rugged texture that takes paint and drybrushing well, and the open legs let you see the whole mechanism from every side.
