FAQ

Where is my order?
Rest assured, we are printing, cleaning up and shipping your order as fast as we can. Myth Forged is just the two of us (Sam and Steve) so sometimes in busier periods a bit of a queue can develop. Average dispatch time is 5 days but check the banner at the top of the site for accurate lead times.

What kind of glue should I use?
I use a gel super glue. We sell Loctite on the store as we know it works!
Poly/plastic cement will not work

What prep do I need to do for painting?
The miniatures should be ready for a priming coat, however I'd always recommend a quick wash with warm, soapy water. You can paint directly onto the mini, but I recommend priming.

Why have some of the miniatures come on supports?
I ship delicate or small things with the supports still attached. I've found that things get broken and/or lost if I don't. If you submerge them in hot warm for 15 seconds, most miniatures will peel off the supports really easily. Just go slowly and steadily.

My mini feels sticky/tacky to touch - what's going on?
Sometimes the combination of humidity and the packaging causes the washing solution to make the surface a little tacky. This can be solved with a wash in either isopolyl alcohol, or just hot soapy water. Leave to dry in the sun/warm dry place and they'll be fine.

The Mutated Double Rat miniature is a striking representation of feral horror, designed for those who appreciate the grotesque and bizarre in their tabletop role-playing games. Standing on a 25mm base, this creature features two snarling rat heads, each baring sharp teeth that suggest a dual consciousness. Its elongated, sinewy bodies are fused into one, with a patchy, textured hide that emphasizes its mutated origins. The menacing allure is completed by its long, segmented tails that curl upwards, adding an air of unpredictability to its already unsettling appearance.

This miniature serves as a perfect addition to dark fantasy or horror scenarios, bringing a sense of dread and excitement to your campaign. The Mutated Double Rat could be the result of a twisted experiment gone wrong, a natural evolution in a post-apocalyptic world, or an ancient curse that has given birth to such a creature. Its presence in your game can symbolize the dangers of forbidden knowledge or the unpredictable nature of magic and mutation.

For role-players, the Mutated Double Rat offers rich narrative potential. It can be used as a formidable enemy, a guardian of cursed treasures, or even a misunderstood creature seeking revenge against those who wronged it. Its aggressive and wild demeanor provides endless opportunities for interaction and conflict, challenging players to confront their fears and test their strategic skills. This miniature not only adds depth to your story but also enhances the visual appeal of your gaming table.
