FAQ

Where is my order?
Rest assured, we are printing, cleaning up and shipping your order as fast as we can. Myth Forged is just the two of us (Sam and Steve) so sometimes in busier periods a bit of a queue can develop. Average dispatch time is 5 days but check the banner at the top of the site for accurate lead times.

What kind of glue should I use?
I use a gel super glue. We sell Loctite on the store as we know it works!
Poly/plastic cement will not work

What prep do I need to do for painting?
The miniatures should be ready for a priming coat, however I'd always recommend a quick wash with warm, soapy water. You can paint directly onto the mini, but I recommend priming.

Why have some of the miniatures come on supports?
I ship delicate or small things with the supports still attached. I've found that things get broken and/or lost if I don't. If you submerge them in hot warm for 15 seconds, most miniatures will peel off the supports really easily. Just go slowly and steadily.

My mini feels sticky/tacky to touch - what's going on?
Sometimes the combination of humidity and the packaging causes the washing solution to make the surface a little tacky. This can be solved with a wash in either isopolyl alcohol, or just hot soapy water. Leave to dry in the sun/warm dry place and they'll be fine.

Introduce a chilling adversary to your Dungeons and Dragons, Pathfinder 2E, or Call of Cthulhu campaigns with the Demonic Rat miniature. This sinister creature combines the cunning and resilience of a rat with the terrifying aspects of a demon, including razor-sharp teeth and leathery wings. The Demonic Rat is sculpted to capture the essence of a predator born from the darkest magic, ready to spread fear and chaos.

The figure is meticulously detailed, showcasing its fearsome features. The oversized, sharp teeth are designed to look capable of piercing through the toughest materials, reflecting its hunger for destruction. Its wings, textured to resemble those of a bat, are unfurled to signify its readiness to leap into flight and descend upon its prey. The pose is dynamic and menacing, encapsulating the demonic rat's aggressive nature and its role as a harbinger of doom.

For miniature painting enthusiasts, the Demonic Rat presents an engaging challenge. The contrast between the sleek fur and the rugged texture of the wings offers an opportunity to explore different painting techniques and finishes. The eyes can be painted to glow with malevolence, while the teeth and claws offer a chance to experiment with effects that highlight their deadly sharpness. The wings invite creativity with shading and highlights to emphasize their sinister, supernatural quality.

Incorporating the Demonic Rat into your TTRPG sessions adds a layer of danger and mystery. Whether it's a plague spreader in the sewers of a Dungeons and Dragons city, a guardian of ancient curses in a Pathfinder 2E tomb, or an omen of unspeakable horrors in a Call of Cthulhu investigation, this miniature enriches the narrative. It challenges players to confront the embodiment of pestilence and fear, making every encounter a memorable battle for survival against the forces of darkness.
