A domed, cobbled stone oven with an arched firing mouth and a pair of open shutter doors sits on a round plank-topped base, with a tall brick chimney topped by a little tiled roof rising behind it. A small ash door in the stone plinth adds a lived-in detail.

Beside the kiln, a stone-walled lean-to shelters a cauldron under a slab roof, while a broom and a cooking pot add workshop character around the base.
