Head down, books under his arm, and somewhere to be.

This human scholar walks with a dark scowl and a downcast stare, his unruly curls sitting above a worn jacket and buttoned waistcoat. Frayed hems and torn trousers speak of hard wear, while a stack of heavy books is clamped tight beneath one arm.

Printed in high-resolution resin, the fabric texture, stitched seams and laced boots hold crisp detail that is ready for paint. He strides across tufted grass and a small rock, giving the pose a grounded sense of movement. Put him on your table as an unsettling bookish stranger, a wary informant or a scholar nobody quite trusts.

• High-resolution resin 3D print
