FAQ

Where is my order?
Rest assured, we are printing, cleaning up and shipping your order as fast as we can. Myth Forged is just the two of us (Sam and Steve) so sometimes in busier periods a bit of a queue can develop. Average dispatch time is 5 days but check the banner at the top of the site for accurate lead times.

What kind of glue should I use?
I use a gel super glue. We sell Loctite on the store as we know it works!
Poly/plastic cement will not work

What prep do I need to do for painting?
The miniatures should be ready for a priming coat, however I'd always recommend a quick wash with warm, soapy water. You can paint directly onto the mini, but I recommend priming.

Why have some of the miniatures come on supports?
I ship delicate or small things with the supports still attached. I've found that things get broken and/or lost if I don't. If you submerge them in hot warm for 15 seconds, most miniatures will peel off the supports really easily. Just go slowly and steadily.

My mini feels sticky/tacky to touch - what's going on?
Sometimes the combination of humidity and the packaging causes the washing solution to make the surface a little tacky. This can be solved with a wash in either isopolyl alcohol, or just hot soapy water. Leave to dry in the sun/warm dry place and they'll be fine.

Embark on a journey into the realm of the forbidden with the Socothbenoth miniature, a representation of the demon lord of perversion and taboos, for your Dungeons and Dragons, Pathfinder 2E, or Call of Cthulhu campaigns. This gargantuan avatar is a testament to the dark allure and corrupting power of Socothbenoth, featuring leathery batlike wings, satyr horns and hooves, and wielding a flaming staff as a symbol of his dominion over the darkest desires and forbidden knowledge. This figure embodies the essence of temptation and the breaking of societal boundaries, standing as a beacon of chaos and seduction in the face of rigid moral codes.

The sculpture of Socothbenoth is a detailed masterpiece, capturing the complexity and charisma of this demon lord. The leathery wings are spread wide, suggesting his ability to traverse the spaces between worlds, bringing temptation and corruption wherever he flies. The satyr horns and hooves add a primal, untamed aspect to his form, hinting at the ancient and wild nature of his power. The flaming staff is not merely a weapon but a conduit for his infernal magic, illuminating the darkness with the fire of forbidden knowledge and desires.

For miniature painting enthusiasts, the Socothbenoth figure presents a unique challenge and opportunity to delve into a palette of dark and fiery hues. The intricate detailing of the wings demands careful shading and highlighting to capture their formidable span and texture. The horns and hooves offer a chance to explore naturalistic tones contrasted against the supernatural glow of the staff, which itself can be painted with luminous effects to signify its potent magic. The avatar's overall appearance invites a blend of colors that reflect his dual nature as both a creature of darkness and a bringer of enlightenment through transgression.

Incorporating Socothbenoth into your TTRPG sessions introduces a complex antagonist or a dubious ally, whose motivations and actions challenge the very fabric of society and morality within the game's universe. Whether he appears as the mastermind behind a cult dedicated to exploring the forbidden in a Dungeons and Dragons campaign, a source of dark inspiration in a Pathfinder 2E story, or a central figure in a Call of Cthulhu investigation into ancient taboos, Socothbenoth enriches the narrative with themes of temptation, the exploration of dark desires, and the consequences of breaking societal norms. His presence on the tabletop serves as a constant reminder of the thin line between freedom
