FAQ

Where is my order?
Rest assured, we are printing, cleaning up and shipping your order as fast as we can. Myth Forged is just the two of us (Sam and Steve) so sometimes in busier periods a bit of a queue can develop. Average dispatch time is 5 days but check the banner at the top of the site for accurate lead times.

What kind of glue should I use?
I use a gel super glue. We sell Loctite on the store as we know it works!
Poly/plastic cement will not work

What prep do I need to do for painting?
The miniatures should be ready for a priming coat, however I'd always recommend a quick wash with warm, soapy water. You can paint directly onto the mini, but I recommend priming.

Why have some of the miniatures come on supports?
I ship delicate or small things with the supports still attached. I've found that things get broken and/or lost if I don't. If you submerge them in hot warm for 15 seconds, most miniatures will peel off the supports really easily. Just go slowly and steadily.

My mini feels sticky/tacky to touch - what's going on?
Sometimes the combination of humidity and the packaging causes the washing solution to make the surface a little tacky. This can be solved with a wash in either isopolyl alcohol, or just hot soapy water. Leave to dry in the sun/warm dry place and they'll be fine.

Introduce an unforgettable adversary to your Dungeons and Dragons, Pathfinder 2E, or Call of Cthulhu campaigns with the Reverse Centaur miniature, a creature that defies the norms of fantasy beasts. This figure captures the moment a Reverse Centaur, with the torso of a horse and the lower body of a human, charges at an enemy. The creature’s horse head is raised in a fierce neigh, embodying the raw energy and primal rage of this bizarre warrior as it prepares to engage in combat.

The sculpture of the Reverse Centaur is a striking blend of the familiar and the surreal. The muscular horse torso, seamlessly transitioning into a human lower body, is poised in a dynamic charge. The detail in the horse’s mane, flowing back as if caught in the wind, adds to the sense of movement and ferocity. The human legs, depicted in mid-stride, are sculpted with careful attention to anatomy, emphasizing the creature's battle readiness. The expression on the horse’s face, captured mid-neigh, conveys both the battle cry of a beast and the strategic focus of a seasoned fighter.

For miniature painting enthusiasts, this Reverse Centaur offers a canvas filled with potential. The contrast between the horse’s fur and the human skin provides an opportunity to explore a variety of painting techniques, from fur texturing to skin tones. The dynamic pose invites creative approaches to capturing the sense of motion, such as blending and shading techniques that suggest speed and the heat of battle. The miniature’s unique anatomy allows painters to experiment with armor and clothing, imagining how such a creature would adorn itself for war.

Incorporating the Reverse Centaur into your TTRPG sessions brings a touch of the bizarre and a significant challenge to the table. Whether encountered in the wilds of a Dungeons and Dragons campaign, emerging from the mists of a Pathfinder 2E adventure, or haunting the dreams of investigators in a Call of Cthulhu mystery, this creature adds depth to your world. It represents not only a physical threat but also a psychological one, challenging characters to face an opponent that is as confounding as it is deadly. The Reverse Centaur promises to leave a lasting impression, making each encounter a memorable tale of courage, horror, and the uncanny.
