FAQ

Where is my order?
Rest assured, we are printing, cleaning up and shipping your order as fast as we can. Myth Forged is just the two of us (Sam and Steve) so sometimes in busier periods a bit of a queue can develop. Average dispatch time is 5 days but check the banner at the top of the site for accurate lead times.

What kind of glue should I use?
I use a gel super glue. We sell Loctite on the store as we know it works!
Poly/plastic cement will not work

What prep do I need to do for painting?
The miniatures should be ready for a priming coat, however I'd always recommend a quick wash with warm, soapy water. You can paint directly onto the mini, but I recommend priming.

Why have some of the miniatures come on supports?
I ship delicate or small things with the supports still attached. I've found that things get broken and/or lost if I don't. If you submerge them in hot warm for 15 seconds, most miniatures will peel off the supports really easily. Just go slowly and steadily.

My mini feels sticky/tacky to touch - what's going on?
Sometimes the combination of humidity and the packaging causes the washing solution to make the surface a little tacky. This can be solved with a wash in either isopolyl alcohol, or just hot soapy water. Leave to dry in the sun/warm dry place and they'll be fine.

Introduce a deviously strategic character to your Dungeons and Dragons, Pathfinder 2E, or Call of Cthulhu campaigns with the Cunning Ratfolk Soldier miniature. This sly warrior is equipped for both offense and defense, brandishing a poisoned spear and clutching a round shield. His stance is poised and calculating, indicating his readiness to strike with precision and protect himself against any counterattack.

The sculpture of this Ratfolk Soldier is crafted with attention to detail, emphasizing his lean and agile build, perfect for quick movements and sneak attacks. His expression is focused and cunning, with sharp features that convey a sense of intelligence and malice. The spear he wields is tipped with a visibly dripping poison, hinting at his preference for subterfuge and lethal tactics. His shield is battered but sturdy, decorated perhaps with symbols of his clan or personal totems that add to his backstory.

For miniature painting enthusiasts, this Cunning Ratfolk Soldier offers a rewarding project. The fur texture allows for nuanced color variations and shading, suggesting a life spent skulking in the shadows. The poison on the spear tip can be highlighted with glossy or iridescent paint to indicate its deadly nature, while the shield offers a chance to experiment with aging and wear techniques, reflecting the soldier’s experience in numerous skirmishes.

Incorporating this Ratfolk Soldier into your TTRPG sessions introduces a versatile foe or ally. As an enemy, he can engage in guerilla tactics, setting traps and striking when least expected. As an ally, he might offer skills in stealth and tracking, proving invaluable on missions requiring subtlety and caution. His presence can spice up combat encounters, requiring players to think tactically about both offense and defense.

This miniature not only adds depth to your game's combat scenarios but also enriches the narrative, offering players encounters with a character who embodies the cunning and resourcefulness typical of ratfolk warriors.
