FAQ

Where is my order?
Rest assured, we are printing, cleaning up and shipping your order as fast as we can. Myth Forged is just the two of us (Sam and Steve) so sometimes in busier periods a bit of a queue can develop. Average dispatch time is 5 days but check the banner at the top of the site for accurate lead times.

What kind of glue should I use?
I use a gel super glue. We sell Loctite on the store as we know it works!
Poly/plastic cement will not work

What prep do I need to do for painting?
The miniatures should be ready for a priming coat, however I'd always recommend a quick wash with warm, soapy water. You can paint directly onto the mini, but I recommend priming.

Why have some of the miniatures come on supports?
I ship delicate or small things with the supports still attached. I've found that things get broken and/or lost if I don't. If you submerge them in hot warm for 15 seconds, most miniatures will peel off the supports really easily. Just go slowly and steadily.

My mini feels sticky/tacky to touch - what's going on?
Sometimes the combination of humidity and the packaging causes the washing solution to make the surface a little tacky. This can be solved with a wash in either isopolyl alcohol, or just hot soapy water. Leave to dry in the sun/warm dry place and they'll be fine.

Introducing the Wringing Out Washerwoman, a remarkably detailed 25mm miniature that beautifully captures the essence of everyday labor within a TTRPG setting. Her practical attire, consisting of a simple dress or tunic paired with rolled-up pants, suggests a life spent in and around water. The washerwoman's hair is tied back in a no-nonsense updo, emphasizing her focus and determination as she wrings out a piece of cloth. Her expression, one of concentration and slight weariness, tells the tale of a life dedicated to hard work and routine chores, making her an intriguing character to add to your tabletop adventures.

The Wringing Out Washerwoman isn't just a figure, but a story waiting to unfold. She represents the unsung heroes of any village or town, those who ensure the smooth running of daily life. Imagine her as a background character in a bustling market scene, or as a focal point in a mystery where her keen observation skills come to light. Her understated presence makes her a versatile addition to a variety of storylines, capable of adding depth and realism to any campaign.

For roleplayers, the Wringing Out Washerwoman offers a unique opportunity to explore the world from a different perspective. She can be woven into narratives as a source of local knowledge, a witness to clandestine activities, or even as a surprising ally with hidden strengths. Her grounded, everyday appearance stands in contrast to the often fantastical elements of TTRPGs, providing a refreshing change of pace and a chance to engage with the world in a new way. Whether used as a central character or a nuanced NPC, this miniature is sure to enrich your gaming experience.
