FAQ

Where is my order?
Rest assured, we are printing, cleaning up and shipping your order as fast as we can. Myth Forged is just the two of us (Sam and Steve) so sometimes in busier periods a bit of a queue can develop. Average dispatch time is 5 days but check the banner at the top of the site for accurate lead times.

What kind of glue should I use?
I use a gel super glue. We sell Loctite on the store as we know it works!
Poly/plastic cement will not work

What prep do I need to do for painting?
The miniatures should be ready for a priming coat, however I'd always recommend a quick wash with warm, soapy water. You can paint directly onto the mini, but I recommend priming.

Why have some of the miniatures come on supports?
I ship delicate or small things with the supports still attached. I've found that things get broken and/or lost if I don't. If you submerge them in hot warm for 15 seconds, most miniatures will peel off the supports really easily. Just go slowly and steadily.

My mini feels sticky/tacky to touch - what's going on?
Sometimes the combination of humidity and the packaging causes the washing solution to make the surface a little tacky. This can be solved with a wash in either isopolyl alcohol, or just hot soapy water. Leave to dry in the sun/warm dry place and they'll be fine.

Introducing the Walking Washerwoman, a beautifully crafted miniature that captures the essence of a hardworking peasant with elven-like features. Standing on a 25mm base, this figure is meticulously detailed, depicting a female character with pointed ears, indicative of her elfin descent. Her humble attire includes a simple dress and apron, while her hair is elegantly tied back. The realistic pose of her walking forward with a washboard under her arm, and a large basket of laundry slung over her back, brings a sense of movement and purpose to this captivating piece.

The Walking Washerwoman miniature tells a story of diligence and routine in a medieval or fantasy setting. Her neutral expression, neither strained nor relaxed, suggests a life accustomed to toil. The figure serves as a perfect representation of a rustic character who might traverse village paths, offering her services to various households. The large wooden paddle she holds casually by her side hints at her readiness to tackle any chore, making her a versatile addition to your tabletop adventures.

For roleplaying enthusiasts, the Walking Washerwoman offers unique opportunities to explore narratives beyond the typical hero's journey. Imagine her as a resourceful NPC, a background character with hidden knowledge, or even a secret ally in your Dungeons and Dragons or Pathfinder campaigns. Her presence can enrich storylines, providing depth to the social fabric of your game world and opening pathways for creative scenarios where her skills and local insights can prove invaluable.
