Furniture With Appetite Mimic Monster J

Form

Object Creature

Open the wrong book and it opens back.

A tall, tilted tome looms over a worn stone pillar, its stacked pages fanned like ribs and its ribbon markers trailing down the pitted surface. It looks like a prize waiting to be read, which is exactly how this mimic lures in the careless. Sharp, crisp resin detail catches every chip in the stonework, every ridge in the page block and the toothy frieze below.

Put it on the table as a quiet piece of treasure, then let your players reach for it. You can pick the Object form for the perfect disguise or the Creature form for the moment the trap springs. Either way, this is one memorable monstrosity ready for a primer coat and a drybrush of ink-stained menace.

Prepping Our Minis

Delicate minis and weapons may come still on their print supports to protect them in shipping.
To remove supports soak in warm water for 20 sec then peel away by hand or carefully use snips or scalpel.
An extra wash in soapy water and a dry in a sunny spot never hurts.
You can paint straight onto our resin minis but we recommend priming for a smoother and longer lasting result.
We recommend a gel superglue (we sell Loctite PowerGel if you need to grab some). Poly/cement will not work.
