FAQ

Where is my order?
Rest assured, we are printing, cleaning up and shipping your order as fast as we can. Myth Forged is just the two of us (Sam and Steve) so sometimes in busier periods a bit of a queue can develop. Average dispatch time is 5 days but check the banner at the top of the site for accurate lead times.

What kind of glue should I use?
I use a gel super glue. We sell Loctite on the store as we know it works!
Poly/plastic cement will not work

What prep do I need to do for painting?
The miniatures should be ready for a priming coat, however I'd always recommend a quick wash with warm, soapy water. You can paint directly onto the mini, but I recommend priming.

Why have some of the miniatures come on supports?
I ship delicate or small things with the supports still attached. I've found that things get broken and/or lost if I don't. If you submerge them in hot warm for 15 seconds, most miniatures will peel off the supports really easily. Just go slowly and steadily.

My mini feels sticky/tacky to touch - what's going on?
Sometimes the combination of humidity and the packaging causes the washing solution to make the surface a little tacky. This can be solved with a wash in either isopolyl alcohol, or just hot soapy water. Leave to dry in the sun/warm dry place and they'll be fine.

Introduce the Yakfolk Warrior miniature to your Dungeons and Dragons, Pathfinder 2E, or Call of Cthulhu campaigns, capturing the essence of a fearless combatant charging into the fray. This figure, armed with twin swords and depicted in full sprint towards danger, embodies the ferocity and bravery of the yakfolk, a race known for their formidable presence in battle and unwavering courage.

The sculpture of the Yakfolk Warrior is a dynamic representation of motion and aggression. The stance is one of determination and speed, with muscles tensed and swords raised, ready to strike. The intricate detailing of the yakfolk's fur, armor, and weapons showcases the character's strength and martial prowess. Each element of the miniature, from the determined expression to the positioning of the twin swords, has been carefully crafted to convey the warrior's readiness to face any threat head-on.

For miniature painting enthusiasts, this unpainted figure presents a canvas ripe for exploration. The contrast between the textured fur and the smooth metal of the swords offers an opportunity to experiment with various painting techniques, such as dry brushing to highlight the fur's texture and using metallic paints to give the swords a realistic gleam. The figure's dynamic pose challenges painters to capture the essence of movement, adding to the miniature's visual impact.

Deploying the Yakfolk Warrior in your TTRPG sessions introduces a character of valor and strength. Whether leading a charge in a Dungeons and Dragons epic, serving as a formidable foe in a Pathfinder 2E adventure, or acting as a guardian in a Call of Cthulhu mystery, this miniature adds depth to your storytelling. It's not just a figure; it's a symbol of the boldness and bravery that inspire heroes and adventurers to face their fears and embark on epic quests.
