FAQ

Where is my order?
Rest assured, we are printing, cleaning up and shipping your order as fast as we can. Myth Forged is just the two of us (Sam and Steve) so sometimes in busier periods a bit of a queue can develop. Average dispatch time is 5 days but check the banner at the top of the site for accurate lead times.

What kind of glue should I use?
I use a gel super glue. We sell Loctite on the store as we know it works!
Poly/plastic cement will not work

What prep do I need to do for painting?
The miniatures should be ready for a priming coat, however I'd always recommend a quick wash with warm, soapy water. You can paint directly onto the mini, but I recommend priming.

Why have some of the miniatures come on supports?
I ship delicate or small things with the supports still attached. I've found that things get broken and/or lost if I don't. If you submerge them in hot warm for 15 seconds, most miniatures will peel off the supports really easily. Just go slowly and steadily.

My mini feels sticky/tacky to touch - what's going on?
Sometimes the combination of humidity and the packaging causes the washing solution to make the surface a little tacky. This can be solved with a wash in either isopolyl alcohol, or just hot soapy water. Leave to dry in the sun/warm dry place and they'll be fine.

Introduce a captivating figure to your Dungeons and Dragons, Pathfinder 2E, or Call of Cthulhu campaigns with the Sun Cultist miniature, a devout follower who combines martial prowess with ritualistic practices. This miniature depicts a cultist engaged in a dual display of devotion and readiness, holding a sword in one hand while swinging an incense censer with the other. The blend of these elements—the weapon ready for battle and the censer used in sacred rites—symbolizes the cultist’s role as both protector and practitioner of their sun-worshipping faith.

The sculpture of the Sun Cultist is designed to capture this dynamic motion, with the sword poised for action and the censer arcing through the air, releasing clouds of fragrant smoke that signify prayer and protection. The cultist’s attire reflects their religious affiliation, adorned with solar motifs and light-reflecting fabrics that enhance their ceremonial role. The figure’s posture and expression convey a zealot’s fervor, caught in the moment of invoking divine favor while standing guard against any who would oppose their sacred mission.

For miniature painting enthusiasts, this Sun Cultist offers a delightful challenge. The contrast between the practical, perhaps battle-worn sword and the ornate, possibly gilded incense censer invites a mix of metallic effects and detailing. The robes can be adorned with vibrant colors that reflect the sun cult's affinity for light and fire, using shades of gold, red, and orange to highlight their devotion. The smoke from the censer provides an opportunity to experiment with translucent paints or cotton wool, adding a realistic effect that enhances the mystical aspect of the miniature.

Incorporating this Sun Cultist into your TTRPG sessions adds depth to the religious and cultural landscape of your game world. Whether encountered in the midst of a ritual, leading a procession, or defending a sacred site, this cultist’s presence can lead to intriguing interactions. Players might find themselves drawn into complex discussions of faith, forced into confrontations with zealots, or allied with fervent defenders of divine law. The dual nature of the cultist’s armament, both offensive and ceremonial, presents a unique tactical or narrative element, enriching encounters and expanding the storytelling possibilities.

This miniature serves not only as a visual and thematic enhancement but also encourages players to explore the intersections of faith, combat, and devotion, making each session with the Sun Cultist a potentially profound experience.
