FAQ

Where is my order?
Rest assured, we are printing, cleaning up and shipping your order as fast as we can. Myth Forged is just the two of us (Sam and Steve) so sometimes in busier periods a bit of a queue can develop. Average dispatch time is 5 days but check the banner at the top of the site for accurate lead times.

What kind of glue should I use?
I use a gel super glue. We sell Loctite on the store as we know it works!
Poly/plastic cement will not work

What prep do I need to do for painting?
The miniatures should be ready for a priming coat, however I'd always recommend a quick wash with warm, soapy water. You can paint directly onto the mini, but I recommend priming.

Why have some of the miniatures come on supports?
I ship delicate or small things with the supports still attached. I've found that things get broken and/or lost if I don't. If you submerge them in hot warm for 15 seconds, most miniatures will peel off the supports really easily. Just go slowly and steadily.

My mini feels sticky/tacky to touch - what's going on?
Sometimes the combination of humidity and the packaging causes the washing solution to make the surface a little tacky. This can be solved with a wash in either isopolyl alcohol, or just hot soapy water. Leave to dry in the sun/warm dry place and they'll be fine.

Unveil the Tlincalli Archer miniature, a captivating addition to your Dungeons and Dragons, Pathfinder 2E, or Call of Cthulhu campaigns, blending the fearsome aspects of scorpion-like humanoids with the precision and deadliness of a skilled archer. This figure stands poised for battle, bow drawn, embodying the dual nature of a warrior both swift and lethal. Inspired by Mesoamerican mythology, the Tlincalli Archer brings a unique flair to the battlefield, merging ancient warrior spirit with the tactical advantage of ranged combat.

The sculpture of the Tlincalli Archer is meticulously detailed, showcasing the iconic armored exoskeleton characteristic of the Tlincalli, complete with the menacing scorpion tail poised over its shoulder, hinting at the dual threats it poses to its enemies. The bow in its hands is stylized, with designs that reflect its cultural background, and is drawn back, ready to release a deadly arrow. The stance of the archer captures a moment of focused concentration, highlighting its role as a predator from a distance.

For miniature painting enthusiasts, this Tlincalli Archer presents an exciting opportunity to explore a variety of painting techniques. The textured exoskeleton offers a canvas for experimenting with metallic hues and iridescent effects, capturing the natural armor's sheen. The bow and quiver provide a contrast in materials, allowing for creative expression in wood and leather textures. Detailing the archer's poised expression can bring the miniature to life, emphasizing its deadly intent and focus.

Incorporating the Tlincalli Archer into your TTRPG sessions introduces a formidable adversary or ally, capable of striking from the shadows with precision and agility. Whether it's defending ancient ruins in a Dungeons and Dragons campaign, acting as a mercenary scout in Pathfinder 2E, or playing a mysterious guardian role in a Call of Cthulhu mystery, the Tlincalli Archer adds depth to any story. This miniature not only serves as a challenging combatant but also enriches the world-building of your campaign, offering a glimpse into a culture where the art of war and the honor of the warrior are deeply intertwined.
