FAQ

Where is my order?
Rest assured, we are printing, cleaning up and shipping your order as fast as we can. Myth Forged is just the two of us (Sam and Steve) so sometimes in busier periods a bit of a queue can develop. Average dispatch time is 5 days but check the banner at the top of the site for accurate lead times.

What kind of glue should I use?
I use a gel super glue. We sell Loctite on the store as we know it works!
Poly/plastic cement will not work

What prep do I need to do for painting?
The miniatures should be ready for a priming coat, however I'd always recommend a quick wash with warm, soapy water. You can paint directly onto the mini, but I recommend priming.

Why have some of the miniatures come on supports?
I ship delicate or small things with the supports still attached. I've found that things get broken and/or lost if I don't. If you submerge them in hot warm for 15 seconds, most miniatures will peel off the supports really easily. Just go slowly and steadily.

My mini feels sticky/tacky to touch - what's going on?
Sometimes the combination of humidity and the packaging causes the washing solution to make the surface a little tacky. This can be solved with a wash in either isopolyl alcohol, or just hot soapy water. Leave to dry in the sun/warm dry place and they'll be fine.

Embark on an adventure steeped in Mesoamerican lore with the Tlincalli Warrior miniature, a striking addition to your Dungeons and Dragons, Pathfinder 2E, or Call of Cthulhu games. This figure depicts a Tlincalli, a formidable scorpion-like humanoid, in a dynamic pose that captures the essence of its predatory nature. Crouched low, with its body tensed and ready to spring into action, the Tlincalli Warrior exudes a sense of imminent danger and battle readiness that can turn the tide of any encounter.

The sculpture of the Tlincalli Warrior showcases its armored exoskeleton and the traditional warrior garb that pays homage to its Mesoamerican roots. The figure's stance is one of calculated readiness, with each limb and the tail positioned to strike with lethal precision. The intricate detailing of its armor, combined with the natural weaponry of claws and a stinger, highlights the Tlincalli's dual nature as both a creature of myth and a seasoned combatant.

For miniature painting enthusiasts, this Tlincalli Warrior presents an exciting challenge. The textured surfaces of its exoskeleton offer an opportunity to experiment with a variety of painting techniques, such as layering and washing, to achieve a realistic chitinous effect. The vibrant colors traditionally associated with Mesoamerican culture can be used to accentuate the warrior's attire, bringing contrast and life to the miniature. Capturing the intensity of its poised stance will require skill, making the painting process both rewarding and engaging.

Integrating the Tlincalli Warrior into your TTRPG sessions introduces a formidable adversary or ally characterized by its agility and ferocity. Whether lurking in ancient ruins as a guardian of forgotten secrets in Dungeons and Dragons, leading a band of mercenaries in Pathfinder 2E, or serving as a mysterious entity in a Call of Cthulhu storyline, the Tlincalli adds a layer of intrigue and challenge. Its presence on the battlefield demands strategy and caution, offering players a unique and thrilling encounter that blends the rich tapestry of Mesoamerican mythology with the high stakes of fantasy role-playing.
