FAQ

Where is my order?
Rest assured, we are printing, cleaning up and shipping your order as fast as we can. Myth Forged is just the two of us (Sam and Steve) so sometimes in busier periods a bit of a queue can develop. Average dispatch time is 5 days but check the banner at the top of the site for accurate lead times.

What kind of glue should I use?
I use a gel super glue. We sell Loctite on the store as we know it works!
Poly/plastic cement will not work

What prep do I need to do for painting?
The miniatures should be ready for a priming coat, however I'd always recommend a quick wash with warm, soapy water. You can paint directly onto the mini, but I recommend priming.

Why have some of the miniatures come on supports?
I ship delicate or small things with the supports still attached. I've found that things get broken and/or lost if I don't. If you submerge them in hot warm for 15 seconds, most miniatures will peel off the supports really easily. Just go slowly and steadily.

My mini feels sticky/tacky to touch - what's going on?
Sometimes the combination of humidity and the packaging causes the washing solution to make the surface a little tacky. This can be solved with a wash in either isopolyl alcohol, or just hot soapy water. Leave to dry in the sun/warm dry place and they'll be fine.

Venture into the shadowy realms of folklore with the Kapre, the Tree Giant miniature, a compelling addition to your Dungeons and Dragons, Pathfinder 2E, or Call of Cthulhu campaigns. This figure captures the essence of the kapre, a mythical creature known for its imposing size and shadowy demeanor, depicted in a moment of eerie calm as it lounges in a tree, lazily smoking a cigar. Its sinister appearance and relaxed posture provide a stark contrast, making it a fascinating subject for any TTRPG setting.

The sculpture of the Kapre is meticulously detailed, showcasing its massive form melded seamlessly with the gnarled branches of its arboreal perch. The kapre's features are crafted to convey a sense of brooding malevolence, with deep-set eyes and a wide, unsettling grin. The cigar, a traditional attribute of the kapre, adds a touch of enigmatic charm to the figure, suggesting a creature that is both formidable and cunningly mischievous. The tree itself is an integral part of the miniature, designed with intricate bark textures and sprawling limbs, creating the perfect lair for this mythical being.

For miniature painting enthusiasts, the Kapre presents an exciting challenge. The combination of the kapre's rough skin and the detailed textures of the tree offers a rich palette for exploration. Painting the kapre's sinister features, especially the glowing eyes and the smoke from the cigar, can add a dynamic layer of realism to the figure. The tree's vast array of textures provides an excellent opportunity to practice techniques for wood and foliage, enhancing the overall mystique of the miniature.

Integrating the Kapre into your TTRPG sessions introduces an element of mythic intrigue and tension. Whether as a mysterious guardian of the forest in a Dungeons and Dragons adventure, a formidable foe or ally in Pathfinder 2E, or a central figure in a Call of Cthulhu mystery, the Kapre adds depth and atmosphere to your storytelling. This miniature is not just a figure; it's a narrative device that invites players to explore the rich tapestry of folklore and mythology, challenging them to navigate the complex motives and mysterious realms of creatures from legend.
