FAQ

Where is my order/How long will it take?
Rest assured, we print, clean and ship your order as fast as we can. Myth Forged is just the two of us (Sam and Steve) so sometimes in busier periods a bit of a queue can develop. Average dispatch time is 1-2 weeks but check the orange banner at the very top of the site for accurate lead times at point of order. If you need it sooner then please get in touch with us before ordering and we will always do our best within reason to help!

How will my minis be packaged?
We use a cling type wrap to pad and cushion our minis in shipping. Along with double walled boxes and extra padding if needed. We've tried and tested pretty much every method over the last 7 years and this is the most successful and environmentally friendly combo we have found. Obviously these are incredibly fragile items and every now and again we have a casualty in shipping. Please just let us know straight away with photos of the issue and we will make it right with a replacement or refund. This is just one of those things when dealing in shipping delicate items.
The wrapping can be fairly voluminous once unravelled. Please check that you have everything you ordered carefully before throwing it away, tiny hands and weapons can easily get hidden in a fold!
What kind of glue should I use?
We like to use a gel super glue. We sell Loctite on the store as we know it works!
Poly/plastic cement will not work

What prep do I need to do for painting?
The miniatures should be ready for a priming coat, however we'd always recommend a quick extra wash with warm, soapy water and a dry on a sunny windowsill. You can paint directly onto the mini, but we recommend priming for a smoother and longer lasting finish.

Why have some of the miniatures come on supports?
We ship some of the particularly delicate or small parts with the supports still attached. We've found that things get broken and/or lost if we don't eg. weapons. If you submerge them in hot water for 20 seconds, they should peel right off the supports by hand. Just go slowly and steadily, getting your eye in to what is a support stilt vs what is the mini! Please check all supports carefully before throwing any parts away, things like tiny hands and weapons can easily be missed.

My mini feels sticky/tacky to touch - what's going on?
Sometimes the combination of humidity and our packaging wrap causes our cleaning solution to make the surface a little tacky. This can be solved with a wash in either isopropyl alcohol, or just hot soapy water. Leave to dry in the sun/warm dry place and they'll be fine. Very occasionally hollowed minis can trap cleaning solution which leaks out in shipping, if your minis arrive very wet then the same method applies!

The Scatter Terrain Bed miniature is a versatile and realistic addition to any tabletop RPG collection, perfect for enhancing settings in Dungeons and Dragons, Pathfinder 2E, and Call of Cthulhu. This miniature, offering both a standard and a four-poster bed option, is designed to bring a touch of everyday life and detail to your gaming sessions.

The standard bed option provides a simple yet detailed representation of a typical bed, suitable for a variety of settings such as inns, homes, or barracks. Its design is universal, allowing it to fit seamlessly into different scenarios and environments, from a humble village dwelling to a soldier's quarters.

The four-poster bed option adds an element of luxury and grandeur, making it ideal for more opulent settings like noble estates, royal chambers, or high-end inns. The four-poster design, often associated with wealth and status, can also include intricate details such as curtains or elaborate bedposts, enhancing the bed's visual appeal and the setting's atmosphere.

This Scatter Terrain Bed miniature is perfect for scene-setting in your game. It can be used to create a more immersive and realistic environment in a Dungeons and Dragons campaign, serve as a key location in a Pathfinder 2E adventure, or add a touch of detail to a Call of Cthulhu investigation.

As with other miniatures in this series, it comes unpainted, offering the opportunity for customization. Players can paint and detail the bed to match the interior design of the setting or the aesthetic of the campaign. Whether used as part of the background scenery or as a significant element in a storyline, this Scatter Terrain Bed, with options for standard and four-poster styles, provides a practical and visually appealing addition to any tabletop RPG session.
