FAQ

Where is my order?
Rest assured, we are printing, cleaning up and shipping your order as fast as we can. Myth Forged is just the two of us (Sam and Steve) so sometimes in busier periods a bit of a queue can develop. Average dispatch time is 5 days but check the banner at the top of the site for accurate lead times.

What kind of glue should I use?
I use a gel super glue. We sell Loctite on the store as we know it works!
Poly/plastic cement will not work

What prep do I need to do for painting?
The miniatures should be ready for a priming coat, however I'd always recommend a quick wash with warm, soapy water. You can paint directly onto the mini, but I recommend priming.

Why have some of the miniatures come on supports?
I ship delicate or small things with the supports still attached. I've found that things get broken and/or lost if I don't. If you submerge them in hot warm for 15 seconds, most miniatures will peel off the supports really easily. Just go slowly and steadily.

My mini feels sticky/tacky to touch - what's going on?
Sometimes the combination of humidity and the packaging causes the washing solution to make the surface a little tacky. This can be solved with a wash in either isopolyl alcohol, or just hot soapy water. Leave to dry in the sun/warm dry place and they'll be fine.

The Despairing Deep One A miniature captures the essence of an otherworldly aquatic creature, meticulously sculpted to highlight its eerie, humanoid appearance. Standing at 25mm, this figure features a slightly hunched posture with muscular arms that hang loosely, conveying a profound sense of weariness. Its fish-like head is adorned with prominent, bulging eyes and a textured surface mimicking scales or barnacles, while a striking dorsal fin crowns its head, enhancing its maritime allure. Clothed in tattered knee-length pants, the creature's non-human nature is further emphasized by the textured scales that blend seamlessly from its lower legs to its feet.

Crafted to inspire imagination, the Despairing Deep One A can be a central figure in your tabletop adventures, representing a mysterious deep-sea entity or an ancient amphibious race. Its melancholic demeanor suggests a backstory filled with ancient secrets and a forlorn existence, making it an ideal character for both heroes and villains in your Dungeons and Dragons or Pathfinder campaigns. Whether it serves as a guardian of hidden underwater realms or a misunderstood outcast from a forgotten civilization, its presence is sure to enrich your storytelling.

For roleplaying enthusiasts, the Despairing Deep One A offers a myriad of possibilities. Its simplistic and naturalistic appearance, devoid of weapons or gear, allows players to project their own narrative onto the character, be it a reluctant ally in search of redemption or a fearsome enemy lurking in the depths. This miniature's detailed design and evocative pose make it a versatile addition to any collection, enhancing the visual storytelling potential of your tabletop games.
