Chained, watchful and ready to bite: the guard dog your table has been missing.

This mastiff stands tall and alert, head turned to watch for trouble, with sharp pricked ears and a lean, muscled frame. A heavy chain loops across its chest and around its neck in a crossed harness, adding menace and a tactile detail that pops under a brush.

Sculpted in high-resolution resin, the fur-free musculature, wrinkled brow and chunky links all print crisp and clear. Put it at the gate as a sentinel, loose it on the party as a snarling hound, or let it prowl beside a villain. It's a ready-made showpiece for your painting desk and a memorable beast for any encounter.

• High-resolution resin print with crisp muscle and skin detail
• Alert pose with a turned head and pricked ears
• Heavy crossed chain harness that rewards drybrushing
• Ideal as a guard dog, hound or companion beast
