FAQ

Where is my order?
Rest assured, we are printing, cleaning up and shipping your order as fast as we can. Myth Forged is just the two of us (Sam and Steve) so sometimes in busier periods a bit of a queue can develop. Average dispatch time is 5 days but check the banner at the top of the site for accurate lead times.

What kind of glue should I use?
I use a gel super glue. We sell Loctite on the store as we know it works!
Poly/plastic cement will not work

What prep do I need to do for painting?
The miniatures should be ready for a priming coat, however I'd always recommend a quick wash with warm, soapy water. You can paint directly onto the mini, but I recommend priming.

Why have some of the miniatures come on supports?
I ship delicate or small things with the supports still attached. I've found that things get broken and/or lost if I don't. If you submerge them in hot warm for 15 seconds, most miniatures will peel off the supports really easily. Just go slowly and steadily.

My mini feels sticky/tacky to touch - what's going on?
Sometimes the combination of humidity and the packaging causes the washing solution to make the surface a little tacky. This can be solved with a wash in either isopolyl alcohol, or just hot soapy water. Leave to dry in the sun/warm dry place and they'll be fine.

Introduce the formidable Dohwar Barbarian, also known as a Penguinfolk, to your Dungeons and Dragons, Pathfinder 2E, or Call of Cthulhu campaigns. This miniature captures the fierce spirit of a brutish warrior, swinging a massive block of stone in a wide arc, embodying raw power and primal combat prowess. Accompanying this towering figure is a tiny Dohwar, also known as Penguinfolk, standing bravely at his feet with a small shield and banner, adding a touch of courage and loyalty to the scene.

The sculpture of the Dohwar Barbarian is meticulously designed to showcase his immense strength and battle readiness. His muscular frame is exaggerated to emphasize his barbaric nature, with his weapon—a huge block of stone attached to a chain—mid-swing to depict motion and the force of his attack. The tiny Dohwar at his feet contrasts sharply with the barbarian’s size and ferocity, depicted in a defensive stance that highlights his bravery and readiness to support the larger warrior.

For miniature painting enthusiasts, this set offers a dynamic project. The Dohwar Barbarian’s skin can be painted to reflect the rough, textured feel of a seasoned warrior, while his weapon provides an opportunity to experiment with stone textures and metallic effects on the chain. The tiny Dohwar’s armor and banner allow for finer detail work, perhaps using brighter colors to stand out against the more subdued tones of the larger figure.

Incorporating these Dohwar figures into your TTRPG sessions brings an intriguing mix of brute strength and strategic defense to the game. The Barbarian can serve as a powerful ally or a formidable enemy, his size and strength making him a critical element in large-scale battles or challenging encounters. The tiny Dohwar adds a layer of tactical support, perhaps rallying other troops or providing key defensive maneuvers.

This pairing not only enhances the visual drama of your campaign but also enriches the narrative depth, offering players a compelling look at the contrasts within Dohwar society and the roles these characters can play in a rich, expansive fantasy world.
