FAQ

Where is my order?
Rest assured, we are printing, cleaning up and shipping your order as fast as we can. Myth Forged is just the two of us (Sam and Steve) so sometimes in busier periods a bit of a queue can develop. Average dispatch time is 5 days but check the banner at the top of the site for accurate lead times.

What kind of glue should I use?
I use a gel super glue. We sell Loctite on the store as we know it works!
Poly/plastic cement will not work

What prep do I need to do for painting?
The miniatures should be ready for a priming coat, however I'd always recommend a quick wash with warm, soapy water. You can paint directly onto the mini, but I recommend priming.

Why have some of the miniatures come on supports?
I ship delicate or small things with the supports still attached. I've found that things get broken and/or lost if I don't. If you submerge them in hot warm for 15 seconds, most miniatures will peel off the supports really easily. Just go slowly and steadily.

My mini feels sticky/tacky to touch - what's going on?
Sometimes the combination of humidity and the packaging causes the washing solution to make the surface a little tacky. This can be solved with a wash in either isopolyl alcohol, or just hot soapy water. Leave to dry in the sun/warm dry place and they'll be fine.

Introduce the Nile Priestess miniature to your Dungeons and Dragons, Pathfinder 2E, or Call of Cthulhu campaigns, bringing ancient mystique and divine power to your tabletop. This human female figure, dressed in the ceremonial garb of a Nile Priestess, captures the essence of a spiritual leader steeped in the traditions of a civilization that reveres the life-giving waters of the Nile. Seated on a small rocky chair, she exudes an aura of calm authority, holding a huge staff that symbolizes her connection to the divine and her role as a mediator between the gods and her people.

The sculpture of the Nile Priestess is a detailed work of art, showcasing the elegance and dignity of her position. Her attire, inspired by ancient Egyptian fashion, includes intricately patterned robes and symbolic jewelry that denote her status and devotion. The rocky chair on which she sits suggests her grounded nature and her role as a steadfast guardian of her people's spiritual well-being. The staff, ornate and imposing, is adorned with symbols and motifs that represent her divine authority and the powers bestowed upon her by the gods.

For miniature painting enthusiasts, the Nile Priestess presents a captivating challenge. The detailed textures of her robes offer a chance to explore various techniques for fabric painting, including the use of gradients and shading to create the appearance of folds and movement. The jewelry provides an opportunity to add metallic accents and vibrant colors that contrast beautifully with her attire. The staff demands attention to detail, allowing painters to experiment with gold leaf or metallic paints to highlight its sacred symbols. The rocky chair can be painted to resemble natural stone, adding a touch of realism to the scene.

Incorporating the Nile Priestess into your TTRPG sessions introduces an element of ancient wisdom and divine magic to your storytelling. Whether she serves as a guide to adventurers seeking knowledge in a Dungeons and Dragons quest, a powerful ally in a Pathfinder 2E campaign, or a mysterious figure whose motives are intertwined with the fate of the world in a Call of Cthulhu mystery, the Nile Priestess enriches the narrative with themes of faith, power, and the ancient connection between humanity and the natural world. Her presence can inspire quests for sacred artifacts, diplomatic missions to negotiate with the gods, or investigations into ancient rituals that hold the key to saving or damning the world.
