FAQ

Where is my order?
Rest assured, we are printing, cleaning up and shipping your order as fast as we can. Myth Forged is just the two of us (Sam and Steve) so sometimes in busier periods a bit of a queue can develop. Average dispatch time is 5 days but check the banner at the top of the site for accurate lead times.

What kind of glue should I use?
I use a gel super glue. We sell Loctite on the store as we know it works!
Poly/plastic cement will not work

What prep do I need to do for painting?
The miniatures should be ready for a priming coat, however I'd always recommend a quick wash with warm, soapy water. You can paint directly onto the mini, but I recommend priming.

Why have some of the miniatures come on supports?
I ship delicate or small things with the supports still attached. I've found that things get broken and/or lost if I don't. If you submerge them in hot warm for 15 seconds, most miniatures will peel off the supports really easily. Just go slowly and steadily.

My mini feels sticky/tacky to touch - what's going on?
Sometimes the combination of humidity and the packaging causes the washing solution to make the surface a little tacky. This can be solved with a wash in either isopolyl alcohol, or just hot soapy water. Leave to dry in the sun/warm dry place and they'll be fine.

Introduce the Zealot of the Demon Rats miniature to your Dungeons and Dragons, Pathfinder 2E, or Call of Cthulhu campaigns, embodying the dark devotion of a cultist who worships demonic rat entities. This sinister figure is adorned with skulls and severed heads, showcasing his macabre offerings to his malevolent deities. In one hand, he holds a censer, emanating the foul incense of dark rituals; in the other, a sword, ready to defend his faith or sacrifice the unworthy.

The sculpture of the Zealot of the Demon Rats is a detailed depiction of fanaticism and dark worship. The figure's attire is a patchwork of cult symbols, tattered robes, and bone adornments, indicating his devotion to the demonic rat gods. The skulls and severed heads hanging from his belt are rendered with chilling detail, each telling a story of sacrifice and terror. The censer and sword are symbols of his dual role as both priest and warrior, committed to spreading the dark influence of his gods.

For miniature painting enthusiasts, this Zealot presents an intriguing challenge with its variety of textures and macabre details. The robes offer a canvas for experimenting with dark, rich colors contrasted against the bone white of the skulls and the stark metallic of the sword and censer. The severed heads and skulls require careful attention to detail to bring out their ghastly expressions, enhancing the miniature's eerie aura. The flames or smoke from the censer can be painted with translucent effects to add a mystical element to the figure.

Incorporating the Zealot of the Demon Rats into your TTRPG sessions adds a layer of dark intrigue and potential horror. Whether he appears as a mysterious antagonist in a Dungeons and Dragons campaign, a fanatical leader of a cult in Pathfinder 2E, or a key figure in a Call of Cthulhu mystery involving demonic worship, the zealot enriches the narrative with themes of fanaticism, sacrifice, and the corrupting power of dark deities. His presence challenges players to confront the depths of devotion and the horrors committed in the name of forbidden gods, making for a memorable and unsettling encounter.
