FAQ

Where is my order?
Rest assured, we are printing, cleaning up and shipping your order as fast as we can. Myth Forged is just the two of us (Sam and Steve) so sometimes in busier periods a bit of a queue can develop. Average dispatch time is 5 days but check the banner at the top of the site for accurate lead times.

What kind of glue should I use?
I use a gel super glue. We sell Loctite on the store as we know it works!
Poly/plastic cement will not work

What prep do I need to do for painting?
The miniatures should be ready for a priming coat, however I'd always recommend a quick wash with warm, soapy water. You can paint directly onto the mini, but I recommend priming.

Why have some of the miniatures come on supports?
I ship delicate or small things with the supports still attached. I've found that things get broken and/or lost if I don't. If you submerge them in hot warm for 15 seconds, most miniatures will peel off the supports really easily. Just go slowly and steadily.

My mini feels sticky/tacky to touch - what's going on?
Sometimes the combination of humidity and the packaging causes the washing solution to make the surface a little tacky. This can be solved with a wash in either isopolyl alcohol, or just hot soapy water. Leave to dry in the sun/warm dry place and they'll be fine.

Introduce the epitome of dark sorcery to your Dungeons and Dragons, Pathfinder 2E, or Call of Cthulhu campaigns with the Renegade Lich miniature. This figure represents a formidable necromancer, a lich who has transcended mortality through dark magic and now seeks to impose his will upon the realm of the living and the dead. Clad in a cloak that billows ominously in the spectral wind, he stands atop a macabre pedestal of his victims' skeletons, a chilling testament to his power and malevolence. In one skeletal hand, he wields a necrotic staff, pulsing with dark energy, while the other hand conjures an evil spell, gathering the nefarious forces of the underworld to unleash upon his foes. Crowned with a spiked diadem, this lich is not merely a practitioner of necromancy but a sovereign of the damned, a ruler in the kingdom of shadows.

The sculpture of the Renegade Lich is meticulously crafted to capture the essence of his fearsome majesty and the dark arts he commands. The details of his spiked crown and the intricate designs on his necrotic staff speak to his ancient power and his status among the undead. The cloak, designed to look as though caught in an otherworldly tempest, adds a dynamic sense of movement, enhancing the lich's imposing presence. The base of the miniature, adorned with the bones of his victims, serves as a stark reminder of the fate that awaits those who dare oppose him.

For miniature painting enthusiasts, the Renegade Lich offers a canvas rich with opportunities for creativity. The contrast between the ethereal glow of his necrotic staff and the dark, decaying tones of his undead form invites a play of light and shadow, emphasizing the lich's power over death itself. The spiked crown and the cloak can be detailed to reflect their sinister elegance, with metallic and fabric effects that add depth and realism to the figure. The base provides a chance to experiment with bone textures and the muted colors of the grave, creating a foundation that underscores the lich's necromantic dominion.

Incorporating the Renegade Lich into your TTRPG sessions introduces a formidable antagonist or an unlikely ally, whose motives and methods are as complex as the spells he weaves. Whether he emerges as the mastermind behind a plot that threatens the balance between life and death, a source of forbidden knowledge sought by the players, or a ruler of a realm that the party must navigate, his presence adds layers of intrigue and danger to the narrative. Encounters with the lich challenge players to confront the depths of necromancy, to unravel the secrets of immortality, and to face the consequences of wielding or opposing such dark powers.
