FAQ

Where is my order?
Rest assured, we are printing, cleaning up and shipping your order as fast as we can. Myth Forged is just the two of us (Sam and Steve) so sometimes in busier periods a bit of a queue can develop. Average dispatch time is 5 days but check the banner at the top of the site for accurate lead times.

What kind of glue should I use?
I use a gel super glue. We sell Loctite on the store as we know it works!
Poly/plastic cement will not work

What prep do I need to do for painting?
The miniatures should be ready for a priming coat, however I'd always recommend a quick wash with warm, soapy water. You can paint directly onto the mini, but I recommend priming.

Why have some of the miniatures come on supports?
I ship delicate or small things with the supports still attached. I've found that things get broken and/or lost if I don't. If you submerge them in hot warm for 15 seconds, most miniatures will peel off the supports really easily. Just go slowly and steadily.

My mini feels sticky/tacky to touch - what's going on?
Sometimes the combination of humidity and the packaging causes the washing solution to make the surface a little tacky. This can be solved with a wash in either isopolyl alcohol, or just hot soapy water. Leave to dry in the sun/warm dry place and they'll be fine.

Introducing the Nile Priestess miniature, a captivating addition to your Dungeons and Dragons, Pathfinder 2E, or Call of Cthulhu campaigns. This human female figure is dressed in the ceremonial garb of a Nile Priestess, invoking the ancient rituals and gods of a civilization inspired by the mysteries of the Nile. She holds a crocodile head censer, a sacred symbol of her deity's dominion over life, death, and rebirth, and she wears a blindfold, signifying her deep trust in the divine guidance and her role as a seer who looks beyond the physical world.

The sculpture of the Nile Priestess is meticulously detailed, capturing the elegance and solemnity of her position. Her attire, flowing and ornate, reflects the traditional dress of a priestess devoted to the river's gods, adorned with symbols and motifs that evoke the rich cultural heritage of her people. The crocodile head censer is crafted with attention to detail, emphasizing its significance in her rituals. The blindfold adds a layer of mystique, suggesting her unique connection to the spiritual realm and her detachment from the visual world in her pursuit of deeper truths.

For miniature painting enthusiasts, the Nile Priestess offers a delightful challenge. The texture and flow of her garments provide a canvas for experimenting with various techniques to capture the lightweight fabric and intricate patterns. The crocodile head censer allows for exploration of metallic effects and patinas, giving it an ancient and sacred look. Painting the blindfold requires careful attention to convey its texture and the sense of serenity it represents. The overall effect is a miniature that is both visually striking and rich in symbolic meaning.

Incorporating the Nile Priestess into your TTRPG sessions introduces a character of deep spiritual significance and mysterious power. Whether she appears as a guide to the players in a Dungeons and Dragons quest, a keeper of ancient secrets in Pathfinder 2E, or a pivotal figure in a Call of Cthulhu mystery, the Nile Priestess enriches the narrative with themes of faith, divination, and the ancient wisdom of river civilizations. Her presence challenges players to consider the deeper, often unseen forces at play in their adventures, adding a layer of depth and intrigue to the gaming experience.
