FAQ

Where is my order?
Rest assured, we are printing, cleaning up and shipping your order as fast as we can. Myth Forged is just the two of us (Sam and Steve) so sometimes in busier periods a bit of a queue can develop. Average dispatch time is 5 days but check the banner at the top of the site for accurate lead times.

What kind of glue should I use?
I use a gel super glue. We sell Loctite on the store as we know it works!
Poly/plastic cement will not work

What prep do I need to do for painting?
The miniatures should be ready for a priming coat, however I'd always recommend a quick wash with warm, soapy water. You can paint directly onto the mini, but I recommend priming.

Why have some of the miniatures come on supports?
I ship delicate or small things with the supports still attached. I've found that things get broken and/or lost if I don't. If you submerge them in hot warm for 15 seconds, most miniatures will peel off the supports really easily. Just go slowly and steadily.

My mini feels sticky/tacky to touch - what's going on?
Sometimes the combination of humidity and the packaging causes the washing solution to make the surface a little tacky. This can be solved with a wash in either isopolyl alcohol, or just hot soapy water. Leave to dry in the sun/warm dry place and they'll be fine.

Venture into the dark and twisted realms of your Dungeons and Dragons, Pathfinder 2E, or Call of Cthulhu campaigns with the Four Malformed Driders miniatures. These unique figures represent a horrifying fusion of drow and spider, further mutated with the addition of wings and a reduced number of spider-like legs. Each drider is a testament to dark magic gone awry or perhaps a new evolution among their kind, making them even more formidable. With heavily armored torsos that merge seamlessly into their chitinous lower bodies, these creatures strike a balance between the elegance of their drow heritage and the monstrous nature of their spider half. Flowing robes add a touch of grace and mystery, billowing behind them as if stirred by the dark energies that fuel their existence. Armed with a variety of weapons, from wickedly curved swords to long, sinister spears, these driders are ready to engage in battle, their poses suggesting a lethal agility and readiness to fight.

The sculpture of each malformed drider captures the eerie beauty and terror of their form. The wings, an uncommon trait for driders, are detailed to reflect a sinister, perhaps demonic influence, adding an otherworldly aspect to their already formidable appearance. The four spider-like legs, less than the typical drider but no less terrifying, are sculpted to convey power and speed, their joints armored and their tips sharp. The armored torsos and flowing robes are meticulously designed, blending the aesthetics of high fantasy armor with the grotesque nature of their spider forms.

For miniature painting enthusiasts, these Four Malformed Driders offer a rich and challenging palette. The contrast between the dark, gleaming chitin of their spider halves and the metallic sheen of their armor invites a blend of textures and finishes. The wings offer an opportunity for creative expression, with potential for iridescent or translucent painting techniques that give them an ethereal or hellish glow. The flowing robes can be painted to contrast with the darker tones of their bodies, adding a dynamic splash of color that highlights their movement and the dual nature of their existence.

Incorporating the Malformed Driders into your TTRPG sessions introduces a new and terrifying enemy or ally, capable of aerial combat and bringing a new dimension to encounters. Whether they are guardians of a cursed temple, elite warriors of a dark queen, or mutated outcasts seeking revenge or redemption, their presence adds depth and complexity to the narrative. Encounters with these driders challenge players to adapt their strategies and confront the horrors of a world where magic and mutation blend to create beings of unparalleled danger and beauty.
